» To create more space in the bathroom area we demolished a cupboard situated in the corner of the room housing the combination boiler.
» Removed existing floor and reconfigured all pipework to an under floor arrangement eradicating the need for pipework boxing and creating clean lines at the floor and wall juncture.
» Installed new 18mm hardwood flooring across the entire bathroom floor area.
» Removed all existing plaster back to bare brick walls, re-lined and plastered all walls in readiness for wall tiles.
» Being a Gas Safe accredited company we are qualified to undertake gas work, which allowed us to relocate the boiler 3 foot to the right at eye level.
» Tiled all walls with a modern grey colour scheme incorporating 2 contrasting mosaic vertical features in the shower enclosure area.
» Relocating the boiler allowed us to create enough space to supply & install a 1500 x 700 ‘freestanding’ slipper bath, which met the customer specification.
» More space was created by removing a large old-fashioned radiator and replaced with a modern chrome 1800mm towel / ladder rail.
» Bluu Water replaced the existing 800-quadrant shower enclosure and tray with a 900 quadrant unit increasing the showering area in line with the customer brief
» Replaced the existing electric shower with a high-pressure mixer shower, which delivers significantly more flow performance than electric shower.
» Supplied & Installed a toilet and basin combination unit comprising ‘white high gloss’ under sink storage unit and concealed toilet cistern.
Manufactured and installed a ‘made to measure’ white gloss wall unit to house the combination boiler in it’s new location in the bathroom. This unit matched the toilet and basin furniture creating a consistency across
all units in the bathroom.
